Flowering rush is a beautiful plant, but it is a serious threat to waterways across Washington State. It forms dense monocultures that can clog irrigation canals, inlets and can change the hydrology of an area. Control of this plant is extremely difficult. It is not known to exist on the Colville Reservation, please report this plant if you think you have found it. 509-634-2338
